VALCO supplies fans, turbines and centrifugal blowers for the highest demands on running smoothness and efficiency. Our centrifugal fans with backward curved blades are calculated and designed according to the latest findings in fluid mechanics. The technical design complies with DIN 24166.
The impellers are electrodynamically balanced in two planes. Our fans produce a constant, flat characteristic curve, i.e. the negative pressure from the fan remains almost constant even when conveying smaller volume flows. Centrifugal fans are also available with sound insulation or a walk-in soundproof housing.

Through our MiCo turbines
Our cast MiCo high vacuum turbines with closed impeller are designed for the transport of clean or slightly contaminated air. The maximum air flow rate per hour is 4500 m³. The maximum negative pressure of the turbine reaches 70 kPa.
The fan housing is made of sturdy cast iron.
The impeller is closed and has backward curved and self-cleaning blades.
The turbine runner is statically/dynamically balanced. The technical design complies with DIN 24166. The stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized sheet metal finish is also freely selectable. A uniform and flat characteristic curve is produced, thus the negative pressure remains almost constant even when conveying smaller volume flows.

VALCO’s portable centrifugal fan with backward curved blades is excellent as a support for assembly tasks, for example welding and soldering tasks in flexible workplaces. The technical design complies with DIN 24166. The design in stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized sheet is freely selectable as well as sound insulation on request. The mobile frame fan can be set up with either a horizontal or vertical suction nozzle. Wherever you work – the dust extractor moves with you.

Where can I find a fan with soundproof housing?
Just like clean air in the workplace, noise protection contributes to occupational safety. With a VALCO soundproof hood for fans you are on the safe side, because the soundproof housing reduces the fan noise by at least 15 dB(A). The housing is made of galvanized sheet steel, all open ends are post-treated with zinc sealing. The inner sides are clad with two variations of fire-retardant soundproofing material. In addition, the fan is mounted on vibration dampers. The pipe connections are equipped with elastic couplings so that the flexible connection (compensator)provides vibration decoupling. The soundproof housing for fans has an easy-to-mount anchorage and is suitable for indoor installation as well as outdoor installation.
We also supply fans in soundproof housing with the possibility of motor removal or fans in soundproof housing as a transportable unit.

Are you looking for a side channel blower for continuous high vacuum operation?
VALCO’s side channel blower is designed for continuous high vacuum operation. This fan is designed exclusively for clean air transport and can be mounted and operated in two directions. The technical design complies with DIN EN 24166. Since the transport air is also used as cooling air, the air flow must not be interrupted.
The maximum vacuum generated is 45,000 Pa, with a maximum air volume flow rate of 3,000 m³/h.
The channel compressor may be used for 60Hz operation and must be equipped with a safety valve/vacuum limiter.
