Plasma and thermal cutting systems release a particularly large amount of dust and nitrogen oxides and therefore place high demands on effective extraction. These must be extracted immediately as they arise at the thermal cutting table, otherwise there is too great a risk to the health of people in the discharge area.

Our thermal cutting tables – the best choice

With our extraction and filter technology, we guarantee that the legal limits are significantly undercut. The exhaust works automatically via a purely mechanically operated flap adjustment system, which has proven its worth in the rough and tumble of everyday industrial use. Depending on the position of the burner, the flap in the corresponding module is opened and exhausted.
The division of the extraction areas in the thermal cutting table ensures optimum collection of the contaminants. The advantage: Only a relatively small amount of air is required for extraction. The entire system is extremely resistant to interference.
Thermal cutting tables are available in standard dimensions and individual designs according to requirements. Existing gas cutting tables can be converted to our modular system on request.

The combination of the thermal cutting table with extraction and filtration systems ensures optimum protection against pollutants during thermal cutting processes.
The thermal cutting table is equipped with a scraper conveyor and four oxyacetylene torches, which are used simultaneously for cutting sheet metal. The permanent removal of the resulting slag is carried out by grates. In the process, it falls into a container below the table or onto a conveyor belt. The grids are located underneath the material support and catch smaller burnt-out parts.
These small parts must be removed from the grate regularly so that the extraction performance is not negatively affected. The container can be emptied without any problems after removing the gratings. It is removed upwards and after emptying, the thermal cutting table is completed with the container again.
Depending on the position of the torch, the flap in the corresponding module area of the table can be opened and the work area can be exhausted.

Dimensions and conversion
Thermal cutting tables are available in standard dimensions and individual designs (1 x 1 m to 12 x 70 m) depending on requirements. Existing gas cutting tables can be converted to our modular system on request.

Our combinable plasma cutting table with suction & filtration systems in milling – cutting – drilling is available in stationary or mobile version. If desired, you can order the cutting table with or without a water bath. Standard dimensions are available in increments of 500 mm.
In addition to standard dimensions, VALCO also supplies plasma cutting tables in individual designs according to customer requirements. Existing plasma cutting tables can be converted to our modular system on request.

In combination with extraction and filtration systems, our thermal cutting tables are equipped with flap channels divided into 500 mm thick sections. These are controlled via the firing machine. The extraction works fully automatically via a purely mechanically operated flap adjustment system that has proven itself in the rough and tumble of everyday industrial use.
Dimensions and changeover: Thermal cutting tables are available in standard dimensions and individual designs according to requirements (from 1 x 1m to 12 x 70 m). Existing gas cutting tables can be converted to our modular system on request. Continuous clearing via a scraper conveyor is also possible as an option.

How can costs be saved with VALCO equipment?

The division of the extraction areas in the thermal cutting table ensures optimum collection of the contaminants. The flap control always opens only the section in the cutting area for extraction on the thermal cutting table, i.e.: Depending on the position of the torch, the flap in the corresponding module is opened and extracted. This extraction system therefore only extracts where smoke is actually produced. Due to the relatively small amount of air required for the extraction of pollutants, only little energy is consumed. That is why thermal cutting tables in combination with VALCO extraction and filtering systems are particularly economical and ensure maximum protection at the workplace despite low energy consumption.

With VALCO’s extraction and filter systems, the legally prescribed limit values are significantly undercut. The fully automatic extraction system, which uses a purely mechanically operated flap adjustment system, is also extremely trouble-free, which in turn saves maintenance costs.
